In this movie Cinderella Man, we follow James Braddock who is a boxer in the great depression who is fighting to make money and do the best he can for his wife and kids. We follow along after his last match as the American people have just hit rock bottom and are looking for jobs to make money and support their families. So, James goes back to fighting in the low leagues to fight for so much more. In this scene, He is just working his way back up and making things right for his family and the after fight interview he is asked questions such as what is he going to do when he gets the title or be champion and his response first I have to get a turtle because his kids heard differently. And this scene he is also asked What are you fighting for or something similar and he replies that he been hurt a lot and he then says I have a reason to fight I am fighting for milk. Which when I was shown this movie and it was to focus on the struggle of the Great Depression and how it has affected others. And the fact that he says he is fighting for milk shows he is every caring for his kids and with a reason.

But from But from this scene alone doesn’t fully explain why this movie is so great unless it does. Besides taking place around the time of the great depression it’s a great film artwork focusing on Boxing and history what more can a person ask for; Cinderella Man not only makes my top ten must-watch list but the work put into the movie just shines right through. From the Character and cast to the scenes and actions everything in the movie is performed to the max, which makes it a masterpiece to watch. Tackling everything from that time era to give that sense of wow this is what happen and I feel as though I am there in the movie listing and watching Cinderella Man. Did I mention the fighting towards the end of the movie we get to watch the greatest boxing scene next to the rocky movies any boxing fans enjoy this movie since the boxing match is basically an underdog story and who doesn’t love an underdog story. Cinderella Man is a great movie to watch why not give it a try.
